What types foods and fruits ?
What types of stretch cream ?
What types of works ?
What types of cautions ?
What types of daily life and more This is the first month of pregnancy of my wife, Please tell me some kinds of food, cream for skin and others ?
Well first off, you might want her to start drinking her fruits and veggies. Like Sunrype fruit and Veggie juice in strawberry Banana. An d taking those prenatal vitamins, and the stretch mark cream that works awesome, is you can get it at walmart. Its called BIO OIL......its awesome. But just for the body not the face. And or Palmers cocao butter formula works great too. Caution on the heavy lifting and such, cuz a growing fetus at such a young time. When the placenta isnt quite formed on the wall of the uterus can tear away. But no need to be too...too worried about that, she has you....lol. And DO NOT let her near the kitty litter, that is a cuz to get toxiplasmosis. Not good for here. But search around, and it will all work out. The best book to get though is. WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN EXPECTING! awesome. It will tell you everything you need to knowThis is the first month of pregnancy of my wife, Please tell me some kinds of food, cream for skin and others ?
Fruits? Any and all that she can keep down!
Strech cream? DOsen't really matter, as long as you keep the sking moist, you can use baby oil, vasaline lotion, anything, but there is no guarantee that she will come out strech mark free. Some women just luck out. Keeping her stomach hydrated sure helps though! Whatever she does, don't let her scratch her belly! She WILL get strech marks if she does.
Works? Like housework? Up until she is 5 mths she can do most anything, she just shouldn't be lifting heavy weights or doing pushups!
Cautions:
No -high mercury fish
-limit caffine
-no hottubs
-no hot showers
-no booze
-no nicotine
-limit soda pops
-no processed meats or cheeses
-no heavy lifting(no more then 20pds after 5mths)
-no pushups
-no jackhammers or other machines of the like
-avoid stress(hard I know!)
-no drugs
Your daily life does not have to change much unless you are a high risk pregnancy. You just take you prenatal drugs and eat healthy, it is also good to take a lot of walks and just stay calm. Shje can even still excersize and she can see a doctor to find out what excersizes ae safe. However she will need a bit more sleep and may be quite nauseas or cranky. And cry a lot! Just be comforting and whatever you do do not call her fat! lol
First month there isn't too much change but she should eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, lots of milk and take a folate supplement(to prevent problems with the baby). Hopefully she won't be too sick but dry toast and ginger tea is great for morning sickness.
Here in Australia we have a great oil for stretch marks which is called BioOil, I'm not sure if you can get it other countries but baby oil and Vitamin E cream is also good.
Good luck with your baby-to-be!
CONGRATS TO YOU BOTH!
She needs Prenatal Vitamins..whether OTC or prescribed
For morning sickness tell her to drink ginger ale and plain saltine crackers..sometimes even coca-cola! Sounds weird, but it works! I lived off that the first 3 months of my pregnancy lol At www.Motherhood.com they have morning sickness preggo pops! They are lollipops..I have never tried them, but I hear good things! For the cream, Palmers Coco Butter..inexpensive and it really does work! It reduces the visibility ot the ones she has and prevents more from coming. She should do light excercise(walking is BEST), eat healthy %26amp; take it easy. Try and be as least stress free as possible! The less stressed she is, the better her and baby will feel :) Cautions...there are some types of fish that contain ALOT of mercury which is bad for the baby..so she should stay away from shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish. Canned, chunk light tuna generally has a lower amount of mercury than other tuna, but still should only be eaten in moderation. Certain types of fish used in sushi should also be avoided due to high levels of mercury! They say deli meats should be heated before being eaten as well, but I think alot of pregnant women have broken that rule lol Imported soft cheeses may contain bacteria called Listeria, which can cause miscarriage. Listeria has the ability to cross the placenta and may infect the baby leading to infection or blood poisoning, which can be life-threatening. You would need to avoid soft cheeses such as: Brie, Camembert, Roquefort, Feta, Gorgonzola and Mexican style cheeses that include queso blanco and queso fresco, unless they clearly state that they are made from pasteurized milk. All soft non-imported cheeses made with pasteurized milk are safe to eat. Caffeine is ok..in moderation. A cup of joe won't hurt the baby! Sorry for the long list, but I know what it's like to be newly pregnant..you want ALL the facts! lol Good Luck to you guys! God Bless!
Edit: Get her to the doctor for prenatal care, which you probably already know. The earlier, the better :)
Foods: ideally, fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats, eggs, and lots and lots of water. Then nausea kicks in and you end up living on pretzels, gingerale, and grapes. Or at least that's how it went for me.
Stretch marks:
Good luck with that. I used palmers which did really well til the last month of pregnancy when I got *huge*. Stretch marks happen, but fade in a few months.
Exercise:
Walking, swimming, yoga. Low impact stuff.
Cautions:
Limit caffiene. Don't stand by operating microwaves. Don't take excessively hot baths. Pay attention to ingredients in face wash, face cream, and sun screen. Salicylic acid is a giant no-no. My doctor gave me a list of stuff to avoid. You can find similar lists all over the internet on websites like babycenter.com of different foods and chemicals to avoid.
Good luck :)
Wow!! great of you to take care of her. Get you ';what to expect when expecting'; any bookstore will carry it and it has tons of info. Morning sickness- Chamomile tea, preggie pops ( motherhood maternity, babies R us) or Sea-bands ( elastic bracelets that really work)
Stretch marks- I used Palmer's tummy butter worked awesome. Its really greasy though so I used gloves and only put it on before bed.
Good luck !
Bio Oil is the best oil to use to reduce stretch marks.I;ve even seen it make stretch marks almost dissapear after pregnancy.
i don't really know all of this stuff but cocoa butter is the best cream to use it helps prevent stretch marks sorry i couldn't help more i've never been pregnant just have friends who have lol
Go to the library or bookstore. Go to pregnancy section. Get any and all books on said topic. Read them. Your wife will love you!
