Can vitamins really be absorbed through the skin via a cream?

As my question is above really.

Scientists..is there actually any proof of this? Can vitamins really be absorbed through the skin via a cream?
If you are using a topical cream with vitamins for skin care, yes it can be effective. Providing they are quality vitamins. To use them for vitamin deficiencies within the body is absurd. Can vitamins really be absorbed through the skin via a cream?
Absolutely yes! Lots of things are absorbed through the skin, not just vitamins, but toxins as well. Read the labels on pesticides! Vitamin E oil is used by physical therapists to soften and reduce scar tissue and prevent the bunching of nerve endings during the healing process. Alcohol rubs (ok, not a vitamin) are used not only to cool, but to relax muscles. Sunlight or artificial sunlamps are used to convert skin oils to vitamin D, which is in turn absorbed by the skin.
