I'm not sure if it will lighten your skin type but I know of a cream from Mexico called Concha Nacar(I think). It's in a white box that sells at Wal Mart. It says it lightens skin and dark patches on your face or anywhere on your body. It's like a mask though cuz you have to leave it on for like 15 minutes i think. You could try it. It's really popular in Mexico.

btw to all you haters, there's nothing wrong in trying to look a little lighter, maybe she's the only black person in a family of white people.
You can't change who you are? What is this obsession with light skin? I'm mixed and I think dark skin is so pretty, I've even had BFs tell me they wish I was darker. Don't mess up your skin with those creams. It doesn't make a huge difference anyways.
